Presence is the foundation of every Soul Travels journey.

These travels are not about passing through places, but about slowing down—listening, observing, and meeting people where they are. Time is spent within communities, not around them, allowing real connection to form.

By engaging with daily life alongside families and local communities, presence becomes relational rather than observational. It is grounded in respect, humility, and shared human experience.

In partnership with The Valhalla Fund, each journey is translated into direct support for children, families, and local communities. Assistance is applied where needs are immediate and relationships already exist, ensuring support is personal, respectful, and effective.

Current projects are active in Peru and Uganda, with additional regions supported as needs arise. The focus remains simple and accountable: real people, real needs, and direct assistance that preserves dignity and local voice.

Joel Johanneson is the founder of Soul Travels and a lifelong explorer of human potential, consciousness, and connection.

His work is guided by presence—listening deeply to people, places, and cultures—and by a commitment to translate insight into meaningful, grounded action. Soul Travels emerged from lived experience, not theory, shaped through years of intentional travel and relationship with communities around the world.

Through Soul Travels, Joel partners with The Valhalla Fund to support charitable initiatives serving children, families, and communities, with active projects currently in Peru and Uganda. These efforts are rooted in respect, direct engagement, and long-term relationship rather than distance or assumption.
