Our Mission
The Valhalla Fund was founded in honor of our dad, who passed away from pulmonary fibrosis in April 2024. Our mission is built around two commitments: supporting individuals and families affected by pulmonary fibrosis, and helping impoverished children and families around the world who lack access to basic care, opportunity, and dignity.
We support the pulmonary fibrosis community through advocacy, education, direct assistance, and by raising awareness and funding for research toward better treatments and a cure for IPF. This work is deeply personal and rooted in lived experience.

At the same time, we serve children and families facing extreme hardship worldwide by providing practical support, resources, and partnership where help is most needed. This effort reflects our belief that compassion should not be limited by geography and that every child deserves safety, care, and a chance to thrive.

Together, these two paths form a single purpose: to meet suffering with action, transform loss into service, and stand alongside those who need help—until pulmonary fibrosis is no longer a threat and fewer children and families are left behind.

Who We Are
What is The Valhalla Fund?
Inspired by Norse mythology, where Valhalla is the hall of fallen warriors chosen for their bravery, The Valhalla Fund is a charity dedicated to honoring and supporting those who have fought and fallen—whether in the past, present, or future.

We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit with two core missions: supporting individuals and families affected by pulmonary fibrosis through awareness, education, and research funding, and helping impoverished children and families around the world by providing practical support and care where it is needed most.

Together, these efforts reflect our belief that compassion has no borders and that honoring loss means taking action—standing with those who are suffering and working toward a more hopeful future.
