Captian Christian Johanneson

Introducing Captain Christian Johanneson, USCG Master 100 Ton US Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Captian, a visionary with a remarkable journey that spans both the corporate world and philanthropy. With over 30 years of experience as a technology executive at industry giants such as Compaq, HP, Microsoft, and Google, Captain Johanneson recently embarked on a new chapter in his early 50s—retirement. But his retirement is far from traditional.

Driven by a personal connection to Pulmonary Fibrosis, a disease that has touched his family deeply, Captain Christian founded a charity dedicated to raising funds for its cure. In August 2023, together with his extended family, they orchestrated a remarkable fundraising effort, contributing 100% of the proceeds directly to Pulmonary Fibrosis research.

Now, Captain Christian is embarking on yet another inspiring mission. He seeks to combine his love for the Pacific Northwest and the open water to provide critical supplies to those in need within the enchanting Puget Sound. Not content with merely delivering essentials, he extends an open invitation for others to join him on this voyage, allowing them to experience the magic of Puget Sound firsthand while contributing to the cause.

Captain Christian Johanneson's dedication to serving his community, coupled with his deep love for the sea and a heartfelt commitment to finding a cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis, exemplifies the spirit of compassion and innovation that drives Valhalla Vessels. Join him in making a meaningful impact on both the lives of those in Puget Sound and the fight against Pulmonary Fibrosis.
